Questions regarding drug dosage, usage, side effects, and animal healthcare practices require expert input, but traditional channels like veterinary visits or phone consultations may not always be readily available. This gap highlighted the need for an intelligent, always-on solution that provides instant, accurate, and consistent information at scale.

What we did

We developed and deployed an AI-powered chatbot solution, leveraging cutting-edge language models (LLMs) and semantic search technologies

Featured project

PDF Ingestion: Raw veterinary documents (including structured/unstructured data) were uploaded into the system.
Text Extraction & Embeddings: Text and tables were extracted and segmented into manageable chunks, then transformed into word embeddings.
Storage in Chroma DB: The embeddings were stored in Chroma DB, a vector database, enabling fast semantic search capabilities.

User Query Processing: When a user submits a query, Llama Index retrieves the most semantically relevant text segments.
Query Matching & LLM Processing: The system matches user queries with document content using OpenAI embeddings, and then uses GPT-4 to interpret, summarize, or directly respond to the user.
Response Delivery: Users receive clear, informative responses instantly through a responsive and intuitive chatbot interface.
